I AM JOEL IRIARTE

I am Joel Iriarte, a professional boxer with a passion for both the sport and my community. My amateur career saw 280 wins, 17 national championship titles, and 3 international medals, including two gold and one bronze, as well as 2 Outstanding Boxer Awards. I represented Team USA Boxing for four years, serving as team captain for two. Now, as a professional signed with Golden Boy Promotions, I hold a record of 4-0, with all four wins coming by way of knockout, aiming to bring back the excitement of classic brawling.

Beyond the ring, I am committed to advocating for individuals with developmental disabilities. Volunteering with the League of Dreams, an organization close to my heart, has inspired me to give back in a more profound way. This is why I’m launching The Warmup gym in Bakersfield, a fitness center offering inclusive programs, including special boxing classes for individuals with developmental disorders, to provide a safe and empowering space for all.

My Mexican heritage, especially my deep roots in Sinaloa, is a constant source of pride and motivation for me. I carry my culture with me as I strive to become a multiple-division world champion and use my success to inspire the next generation of athletes and dreamers in my community. My journey is just beginning, and I’m excited for what’s to come inside and outside the ring.
